The Organizational Management major is designed to prepare students
for careers in management, human resource development, and the
applied social sciences. This program is appropriate for individuals
interested in human resource management or administration positions
in either the public or private sector of the economy. The
curriculum consists of business-related courses and courses in the
behavioral sciences as follows:
General Education Distribution Requirements for the
Major
Students entering Oglethorpe University during the Fall 2003
through Fall 2005 semesters are required to complete the following
General Education coursework before receiving their degrees.
The General Education Distribution Requirements consist of a
total of 12 courses (36 credit hours). Any course used to meet
the general education distribution requirements cannot be used to
fulfill major requirements.
