- The Department of Education (ED) has several sites devoted to
providing Financial Aid Information to students. First, the
Student Guide provides information for all the various Federal
Title IV (Financial Aid) programs.
- A comprehensive index of topics can be found at
Financial Aid for Students. This page has links to other ED
sites providing detailed information on a variety of topics.
- A more recent federal site - the Student Gateway to the U. S.
Government - is now on line. Stop by
www.students.gov
for more information.
- Black Excel's Gateway of 100 Minority Scholarships
Located at
http://blackexcel.org/100minority.htm is another collection of
links to available grants and scholarships.
- FinAid!
The SmartStudent Guide to Financial Aid has multiple links
to all kinds of things like financial aid calculators, special
topic information, scholarship scams and even a free scholarship
search program.
- FastWEB
(Financial Aid Search Through the WEB) is the largest and
most complete scholarship search on the Internet. It provides
access to a searchable database of more than 400,000 private
sector scholarships, fellowships, grants, and student loans
available to students.
- Georgia resident students
For information on programs offered by the state agency such
as the Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant and HOPE, go to the
Georgia Student Finance Commission. Or
print out a Georgia Tuition Equalization Grant application.
