National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship Program

Eligibility:

  • Citizen or permanent resident of the United States
  • At or near the beginning of graduate study in the mathematical, physical, biological, behavioral and social sciences; engineering; the history of science and the philosophy of science; and for research-based PhD degrees in science education

National Physical Science Consortium Fellowships

Eligibility:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to pursue graduate work at an NPSC member institution
  • In your senior year OR first year of a grad program pursuing a Ph.D. OR in a terminal master’s program OR returning from the workforce with no more than a master’s degree
  • Pursuing graduate degree in Astronomy, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Materials Science, Mathematical Sciences, Physics, and related Engineering fields: Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, etc.

USAFunds Access to Education Scholarships

Eligibility:

  • Full-time/part-time students with an Adjusted Gross Family Income of less than $35,000 on 2003 tax forms where the student is claimed as an exemption

NCAA Walter Byers Postgraduate Scholarship Program

Eligibility:

  • GPA of 3.5 or better
  • Completed intercollegiate athletics as a member of a varsity team
  • Have intentions of applying for admission into a graduate degree program at a properly accredited, nonprofit educational institution or into a post baccalaureate professional degree program at a professionally accredited law school, medical school, or the equivalent
