Transient Students

Transient students may take any course offered by the University, provided that they secure permission from their current institution certifying that the institution will accept for transfer credit the academic work done by the student at Oglethorpe and that they are in good academic standing at that institution. This permission is the responsibility of the transient student.

A letter of good standing or an official transcript must be sent to the Admission Office before a transient student can be accepted.

All transient students must complete the Transient Student Application (PDF) for admission and pay a $35 application fee.
