A student who registers for a course is financially liable for the tuition and fees of that course unless or until proper procedures for dropping the course are executed.

Dropping or Adding a Course – To drop or add a course, students must complete a drop/add form, secure the necessary signatures and file with the Registrar’s Office during the published drop/add period. Courses may not be dropped after the dates indicated on the calendar for the relevant session.

Withdrawing from a Course – After the drop/add period, students may withdraw from a course through the dates listed above with a grade of “W.” After a certain date, also listed above, all withdrawals are recorded as “WF.” If there is an intervening period, the withdrawal grade is at the discretion of the instructor. Students should note that any change of academic schedule must be cleared by the Registrar’s Office. The date the change is received in the Registrar’s Office will be the official date of withdrawal. Not attending classes does not constitute an official withdrawal.

Full refunds for Undergraduate Day Classes and Master of Arts in Teaching Classes will be made through the end of the third day of the relevant session. No refunds will be made thereafter.

Full refunds for Undergraduate Evening Classes will be made through the end of the third day of the relevant session. Beyond the third day, refunds for Undergraduate Evening Classes will gradually reduce as a student remains enrolled (please consult the refund schedule listed on page 1). No refunds will be made after the 25% refund deadline of the relevant session.
