If someone were to ask me what my greatest decision ever was, I would not hesitate to respond, “attending Oglethorpe.” As a graduate of Centennial High School in Roswell, GA, I considered many factors in choosing OU, but once I pulled onto campus and witnessed the beautiful gothic architecture, and once I had the opportunity to meet some of OU’s amazing faculty, I knew that this was the place for me.
During my time at Oglethorpe I wore many different hats. I was a member of the men’s varsity basketball team for all four years, I was a Resident Assistant, and I served as President of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, the largest social fraternity on our campus. Had I chose another institution, I am certain that I would have been unable to do so much. I am truly proud to say that I was able to live my college experience to the fullest.
Most importantly, on top of my extracurricular activities I was able to receive a top- notch education from one of the premier liberal arts institutions in the country. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, I quickly began a job in corporate America, working in sales for a local firm. My heart, however, brought me back to Oglethorpe, where I am now working in the admission office as a counselor. It is my hope to attract the next promising group of students to my alma mater.
Please feel free to stop by, say hello, or contact me if you ever have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
