How It Works

To see a tutor, simply stop by during open hours. You can begin the session right then or book an appointment for later on. Bring with you your assignment, ideas, musings, questions, notes, or a draft in any stage of completion, or even a graded paper for revision.

Tutoring takes place in the Writing Center on the second floor of the Philip Weltner Library.

Tutors will receive students on a first-come, first-served basis. No appointment is required, but you may request a 15-minute appointment during open hours by contacting the Writing Center by phone at ext. 1996.

All sessions are free and confidential. A record of each session is kept for future reference when you return and for training purposes and planning, but your privacy is respected.
