This trip will explore both London and Paris in all of their historical layers: Medieval, Renaissance, 19th century, Modern. We will examine the cities as the setting for many artistic and architectural revolutions, and examine most of the major artistic sites and works: Gothic cathedrals, Tate Galleries, Louvre, Musee d’ Orsay, all major museums in both cities, and an engaging analysis of architecture, as well as attending a play at West End London. Students will examine and analyze Paris through segway excursions.
For credit: COR 104 or Special Topics in Art History.

- May 21st—June 4th, 2013 China
This 14 day trip concentrates on the exploration of South East Asia's superpower nation. Exciting excursions varying from the Great Wall to sky scrappers, Confucian temples to modern companies, Tiananmen Square to a tea plantation, China old and new will be featured. Major cities that we will visit include Beijing, Shanghai, Xian, Nanjing, and Hangzhou.
For credit: COR 104 or Special Topics in History.

- June 6th—24th, 2013 Greece
This trip will include explorations in Athens—the Parthenon, the archaeological museums, and the city itself. In addition, we will embark on an odyssey to the major islands for explorations in art, architecture, ancient runs, and Greek island life: Mykonos, Delos, Hydra, Paros, Crete, Santorini, Rhodes, and others, and then return to the mainland for an excursion to the Peloponnese, and there examine the ruins of Mycenae, Sparta, Eleusis, and end our trip at Delphi, site of the ancient oracle.

- July 24th—August 7th, 2013 Shakespeare at Oxford/Modernist London
This trip will focus London as a center of the theatrical world, and students will tour London, visit major museums like the Tate Modern and the British Museum, and attend several plays. In addition, students will also stay at Oxford, explore Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral, and journey to Glastonbury Tor and discuss the legends of King Arthur and the Holy Grail. Finally, student will take the Eurostar and visit Paris for the last three days, and examine the major sites, cathedrals, and museums from the Louvre to the Pompidou.

*Please make deposits to the business office located on the first floor of Lupton Hall. Deposits are non-refundable 14 days after receipt. (Deposits are used to secure airline tickets and hotels, thus we cannot return the deposits based on their regulations and policies.)
