New Developments In CFP® Certification Programs
In 2012, all financial planning programs certified by theCFP® Board introduced a new Capstone Course in Financial Plan Development. At Oglethorpe University, the addition of the Capstone Course further enhanced our ability to prepare students for both the CFP® exam and for a career as a Certified Financial Planner™.
At Oglethorpe University, we conrtinue to expand our career services for Financial Planning students. Through networking events, career counseling, recruitment fairs and industry panels, students can explore their career interests. The major areas include, but are not limited to investments, banking, and insurance; working independently or as a member of a large weath management firm. Importantly, the CFP® designation provides a broad range of choices.
