Dear Prospective Student:
Thank you for your interest in Oglethorpe University's Financial Planner Program. Whether you are seeking to enhance your current career, or searching for a complete career change, our Financial Planner Program provides the knowledge and specific skills that will contribute to your future in financial planning.
Classes for the next cohort begin on January 20, 2010. 
To learn more about our program, we invite you to attend one of our upcoming information sessions. Reservations are not neccessary, but appreciated. Information sessions are held in the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art (located on the 3rd floor of the Philip Weltner Library).
Our campus is located at 4484 Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30319. (Directions and Campus Map) Please join us on one of the following dates:
- Tuesday, August 25, 2009 , 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
- Thursday, September 3, 2009, 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.
- Tuesday, September 8, 2009; 6:30p.m. - 8 p.m.

Once students have successfully completed our program, they will have satisfied the educational program requirement to be eligible to sit for the CFP® Certification Examination. The exam is administered by the CFP Board three times a year in March, July and November.

marks owned by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards
Inc. These marks are awarded to individuals who successfully
complete CFP Board's initial and ongoing certification
requirements. Oglethorpe University does not certify individuals to
use the CFP® , CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERT™ and
certification marks. CFP certification is granted only by Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards
to those persons who, in addition to completing an educational
requirement such as this CFP Board-Registered Program, have met its
ethics, experience and examination requirements. |
