Parking and Driving Regulations
Parking is permitted in designated parking spaces only. Parking
permits are required and may be obtained during registration or at
the Student Affairs Office. No parking is allowed on campus roadways
which are posted fire lanes or along yellow painted curbs. Vehicles
that are improperly parked or do not have a permit may be booted or
towed away at the owner's expense. Towing is done under provisions
of the Georgia Code. Booting of vehicles is a prerogative of the
Department of Campus Safety. Vehicles may not be driven on or parked
on sidewalks or ground areas. This specifically includes motorcycles
and motorbikes. All stop, yield, and directional signals and signs
must be obeyed. The campus speed limit of 20 mph is posted and must
be observed over the entire campus for the safety of everyone.
Violations of the campus traffic and parking regulations are subject
to fines. Fines imposed will be placed on the student's account with
the Business Office. A complete statement of rules and procedures is
contained in "The Oglethorpe University Traffic and Parking
Regulations," which may be obtained when registering your vehicle
with Campus Safety.

Full-time students, faculty, and staff: $40.00.
