Otis M. Jackson Scholarship Fund

Eligibility:

  • Open to Oglethorpe University students ONLY!
  • Rising Junior
  • Show integrity of character, ability to lead, success in athletics

Award: $5,000 in junior year, and $5,000 in senior year

Oglethorpe Christian Scholarship

Eligibility:

  • Must be an incoming freshman or transfer student to Oglethorpe University
  • Must be a legal resident of Georgia
  • Freshman: Must be a graduate of a Georgia secondary school, rank in the top 25% of the class and have at least 1180 SAT or 24 ACT
  • Transfer: Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0
  • Active involvement in the church and Christian character

Award: Up to $1,500, possibility of renewal
Deadline: March 15 annually

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship Program

Eligibility:

  • Students currently attending community colleges or two-year institutions and planning to transfer to four-year institutions in the fall
  • Must be nominated through their institution
  • GPA of 3.5 or better

Award: Room, board, tuition, and fees up to $30,000 per year

  • Full-time or half-time, at least 2.5 GPA
  • Demonstrated financial need

Eligibility:

  • U.S. Citizen
  • Working toward a degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Systems Engineering, International Affairs & Public Policy, Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Information Technology
  • GPA of at least 2.8
  • Enrolled full-time in a metro-Atlanta college or university

Award: At least $1,500

National Physical Science Consortium Fellowships

Eligibility:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to pursue graduate work at an NPSC
    member institution
  • In your senior year OR first year of a grad program pursuing a Ph.D. OR in a terminal master痴 program OR returning from the workforce with no more than a master痴 degree
  • Pursuing graduate degree in Astronomy, Chemistry, Computer Science, Geology, Materials Science, Mathematical Sciences, Physics, and related Engineering fields: Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, etc.
  • Special consideration given to underrepresented minorities and females

Award: Up to or more than $200,000, depending on the graduate program
