Setting Up Student Email on Your Phone
If you have a windows mobile phone/device or a phone/device that supports Exchange ActiveSync, yOUr email account comes with very good mobile support. Most iPhones, Android Phones and Windows Mobile phones support Activesync.
To set up your mobile phone to access your e-mail using Exchange ActiveSync, you'll need the Exchange ActiveSync server name as well as your user name and password.
If you are updating your settings be sure to change the password to the new one you set in OASIS.
Different phones require different methods to sync your Oglethorpe Email account. Here are a few different methods you can try to sync up your email to your smart phone. You can reach this or a similar window by choosing:
Android: Settings->Accounts & Sync->Add account, OR choosing the email app icon and selecting add account.
iPhone: Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars-> Add Account…
For both, make sure you are choosing to add a Microsoft Exchange or a Corporate account. Use SSL certificates, if asked.
After successfully adding your account, choose what to sync to your account (email, calendars, contacts, etc.) and how often you would like them to sync.
