How do I set up Windows Mail for my Oglethorpe account?
Open Windows Mail. Click On Tools and then the Accounts option
Click on the Add button
Click on E-mail Account and click Next
Enter your name and click next.
Enter your Oglethorpe e-mail address and click next.
In the next window, the incoming e-mail server type will be IMAP.
The incoming mail server will be mail.oglethorpe.edu
FOR USERS ON CAMPUS:
The outgoing server will be mail.oglethorpe.edu
You will need to check the box "outgoing server requires authentication"
FOR OFF CAMPUS USERS:
Please check with your Internet Server Provider (ISP) for your outgoing server settings.
Enter your Oglethorpe user name and password and check "Remember password" and click Next.
Click "Finished." Your e-mail is now configured.
