Tommy Gordo |
I’m Tommy, a fifth-year student studying English. I was born in Hollywood, FL, but I grew up in Lawrenceville, GA. While at Oglethorpe I’ve studied abroad, spending a year in Dortmund, Germany, and helped to restart OU Radio. I’ve been an Admissions Student Ambassador for two years, too. Aside from school, my main passions are cooking and language.

Ali Hadd |
Hi, I’m Ali. I’m a double major in Psychology and Mathematics from Fort Myers, FL. I’m in my senior year at Oglethorpe, and serve as an RA for Dempsey Hall. I am a member of APO, ODK, and Psi Chi. My interests include reading, volunteering, exploring Atlanta, doing Sudoku’s, and travelling- I was able to study at Oxford University in England through OU’s study abroad program. As a high school student, I was in the IB Program, and have since fallen in love with Oglethorpe’s challenging and rich classes- our professors are one of a kind.

Johann Hassanally |
Hi everyone! My name is Johann Hassanally. I am from Newnan, GA. I have created my own path at Oglethorpe that will prepare me for nursing school. My major is psychology. However, I complete any prerequisites that I need to obtain a nursing degree. This will be my junior year. I am very active on campus. I work for the Admissions Office, Residence Life as a resident assistant, and the Theater as a website chief. I played soccer and lacrosse my freshman year. I am also a brother of the Chi Phi Fraternity. As well as campus activities, I am also off campus as a local soccer referee. Being active on campus is very important to me. I had the privilege of studying abroad to Cuba with my fellow classmates and excellent professors. |

Hi! I am Hillary Heath. I am a senior and a Theater major with a double minor in English and Studio Art. I am from Atlanta, GA. I am currently working with Georgia Shakespeare as a Directing Intern. I am a member of Greek Life on campus as a sister of Alpha Sigma Tau and a sweetheart of the Chi Phi Fraternity. I am a member of several honors societies including: Phi Eta Sigma, and Sigma Tau Delta. I have studied abroad twice, once in England, once in Italy. |

Ali Keeter |
I’m Ali Keeter and I am an admissions operations assistant worker. I was born and raised in Dallas, TX and am currently studying Psychology and Theater at Oglethorpe. I came to Oglethorpe after falling in love with the city of Atlanta, Oglethorpe’s theater program and the campus itself. I am a member of several organizations on campus, including the sorority Tri Sigma, Outlet and the theater department. The majority of the time you can see me with my sisters, working hard for OU Theater, knitting or watching movies. I’ve come to love everything about Oglethorpe from the classes, professors, students and admissions team. |

Zach Kevorkian |
I’m Zachary Kevorkian, and I am from Phoenix, Arizona. I found Oglethorpe through several different resources and after visiting the campus and meeting the great people. I fell in love! Now, I’m a tour guide for Oglethorpe and I’m having a great time studying to become a medical illustrator. I love Oglethorpe for all it’s given me; including a study abroad trip to Cuba, which is why I try to make sure all of our incoming freshmen love it, too! |

Hi, my name is Dona Kioseff and I am a junior at Oglethorpe. I’m from Valdosta, GA and found out about OU through athletics. Once I visited and interacted with students and staff, I knew this was where I wanted to spend my next four years. I am biology major and history minor, with a focus in pre-medicine. I am member of Greek Life, a cross country runner, an orientation leader, and president of Phi Delta Epsilon medical fraternity on campus. I enjoy running, golfing, science, history and spending time with my rabbit, Paula. |

Hi! My name is Samuel Lyon! I grew up in Tampa, FL, but went to high school in North Georgia before moving to Atlanta. I am a sophomore Communications and Rhetoric Studies Major, with a Spanish minor. On campus, I am an Orientation Leader, Student Ambassador, an SGA senator and Honor Council Member. I am also a brother in the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. My interests are reading, drinking tea, growing cacti, and volunteering. I chose Oglethorpe because of its beautiful Gothic style, wonderful professors, and Core program. |

Bri Mongerson |
Hi! My name is Bri Mongerson and I am currently a junior here at Oglethorpe. Originally I am from Anaheim, CA, but I have lived Peachtree City, GA for the past ten years. I am majoring in communications and rhetoric studies with a minor in sociology. The reason I chose this major is because I love communicating and interaction with new people and cultures.
At Oglethorpe they encouraged us to become involved freshman year, so I am very active in campus life. I belong to one of the three sororities on Campus, where I serve on the executive board as Panhellenic delegate and campus activities director. I am an orientation leader and a mentor for the FYS class: Eyes on Africa. I also work at the University bookstore. Off campus I work at a sports grill and a local consulting firm here in Brookhaven! |

In my spare time I enjoy being active by playing sports such as soccer and football. I have plans to study abroad in Brazil next fall because I am originally from Rio de Janeiro and I want to strengthen my Portuguese. |

Hey y’all. My name is Corey Ray and I am a junior majoring in International Studies. I was born in Pearl, Mississippi and graduated from an International Baccalaureate high school in Columbus, GA. I am the President of the Chi Phi Fraternity and I enjoy exploring Atlanta on the weekends. I’ve been to Guatemala through an Alternative Spring Break with the Oglethorpe Center for Civic Engagement and to Cuba through a Spanish course. I chose Oglethorpe due to the Core program, the beautiful Atlanta campus, and the close-knit community. |

Hey! My name is Ruwa Romman. I am originally from Amman, Jordan, but have lived in Georgia for 12 years. I came to Oglethorpe after graduating as an International Baccalaureate student from South Forsyth High School. I loved my experience there and wanted something similar for college. Oglethorpe was the perfect fit. I love the community feel and knowing the faculty, staff, and students. I am the President of the Muslim Student Association, co-President of Oglethorpe University Heifer International Club, and a COEXIST committee member. I am currently majoring in English and Politics. |

Hi. My name is Jocelyn Stein, and I’m from Los Angeles, CA. I attend Oglethorpe University and absolutely love it. I like all kinds of things, have a variety of interests, and I am not sure what I want to do when I grow up. In my time at Oglethorpe so far I have created my own major (Media Studies), studies abroad (Italy), work on campus, and have been a part of some awesome clubs (SGA, ODK, Tri-Sigma, Honor Council). The best thing about me is my passion and enthusiasm for what I do. Someday, I’m going to win an Olympic medal, inspire a Google doodle, be a question or answer on Jeopardy, perform a citizen’s arrest, and do all kinds of awesome things.

Robbie Wilbanks |
Well hello there! My name is Robbie Wilbanks and I’m from Warner Robbins, GA. I am on of only a handful of Philosophy majors here at Oglethorpe and a sophomore this year. In addition to this I’m also a brother of the Chi Phi fraternity and serve as President of the Thalian society, Oglethorpe’s oldest student organization. I play several instruments including guitar and saxophone and enjoy making my own original compositions and songs. I spend quite a bit of my time sipping coffee at the Goodman Café. Someday I would like to study abroad in Iceland. I’ve wanted to work for the Office of Admission because it is the perfect way to share my love of Oglethorpe with others. The tours I took at Oglethorpe were and important factor in my decision to come here, which ended up being the best decision I’ve ever made. |

I am currently interning with the Atlanta Alzheimer’s Association as a special events intern.
