The evening degree program at Oglethorpe University offers the
following types of program tracks for students:
- Degree Seeking: I am interested in
completing a bachelor's degree
- Special: I am interested in pursuing classes
for personal enrichment. Student may enroll for as
many as 15 semester hours and is not eligible for
financial aid.
- Transient: I am interested in pursuing classes
with purpose of transferring credits to my home
institution. Student may enroll for as many as 15 semester
hours and is not eligible for financial aid.
- Audit: I am interested in pursuing classes for
personal enrichment without academic credit.
Applicants for financial aid should contact the Office of
Financial Aid for further information.
Required for all applications to the evening degree program are:
- A completed application form.
- Application essay
- Applicants must be 21-years-old or older.
Additional documentation is needed for the following application
types:
- Degree Seeking:
Official transcripts from all colleges attended OR official high
school transcript / official results of GED examination. These
should be sent in a sealed envelope directly to the evening degree program office.
- Transient:
Proof of current enrollment in good standing at an accredited
institution.
