Ryan Patrick Edwards
Greetings from Atlanta! My name is Ryan Patrick Edwards, and I am an Admission Counselor at Oglethorpe University. I am a native Atlantan by way of Decatur, Georgia, and a very proud 2011 alumnus of nearby Morehouse College. Prior to joining the Stormy Petrel team in August 2013, I taught both 1st and 2nd grades for a leading charter school management organization in New York and New Jersey. I also served as an Admission Counselor for the oldest institution of higher education for minorities in Florida.
I am passionate about helping young individuals achieve their goals, and I have grown to love working with prospective students and parents throughout the college admissions process. It is my sincerest hope to attract the next promising group of students to this crown jewel of an institution in my hometown!
In my spare time, I am a soccer enthusiast and a beginning golfer. When I’m not playing a little footy or on the links struggling, I enjoy traveling and spending time with both family and friends. Please feel free to stop by, say hello, or contact me if you ever have any questions. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
