Urbanski Earns First Team All-American Honors
Oglethorpe University junior Taylor Urbanski of Loganville became one of eight automatic 2007 NCAA Division III First Team All-Americans with his fifth place overall finish in the 2007 NCAA Men’s Golf Championships held in Fishers, Indiana May 15-18.
Urbanski guided the Oglethorpe University men’s golf team to a fifth place team finish by posting an individual four-day total of 300 to finish thirteen strokes off the pace set by tournament winner Clinton Dammann of St. John’s University (Minnesota).
Earlier this month, Urbanski was named one of only forty-three Cleveland Golf All-American Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America for maintaining a grade-point average above 3.2 and a course stroke average below 79.0 for two entire seasons.
