Women 6th at Stonebridge in Rome
Three individuals place in top
twenty-five

The Oglethorpe University women’s golf
team had their best finish at the Berry College/ Stonebridge
Invitational in the three years the team has attending the
event. The team finished 6th with scores of 351-349-700
easily the best score at Stonebridge in the team’s brief
history.
The Stormy Petrels placed three
individuals in the top twenty-five players. Sophomore
Mallory Pusch shot 86-83-169 and tied for 19th place,
freshman Carrie Shirah finished 23rd with rounds of
89-85-174, and Julia Gates, a sophomore from Kennesaw
finished 25th with 86-89-175.
Paige McCollum totaled 90-92-182 to
finish 34th individually. Jessi Bonham finished tied for
39th with rounds of 99-93-192, and Trish Baldwin finished
45th with scores 103-102-205.
Berry College won the event at
316-324-640 followed by Savannah College of Art and Design
who was six strokes behind Berry at 646.
