Productions at Oglethorpe University
WELCOME to Bon Appétit! We would like to introduce you to
our programs and services that are designed to suit all of our
customers. Take a look at what's cooking.
Traditional Dining in Emerson Café is an "all you can eat" type
of service. You can choose from a wide variety of delicious entrees
from vegetarian, seasonal fruits, salad bar, deli, pizza and
desserts. Our menu changes daily, providing selections to suit
everyone. In the traditional dining hall one meal is deducted from
your meal plan and you may return for unlimited seconds.
Café Bon Appetit at Emerson combines restaurant style service
with on-campus convenience. What's more, it offers a combination of
choices you may never have seen on a college campus before. These
choices are made using fresh ingredients and made-from-scratch
preparation methods whenever practical. Our featured "Specialty
Shops" include:
- Cucina Verde - Our Vegetarian program located
conveniently in the serving area offers an array of options
such as: hummus, soymilk and tofu as well as a variety of
salads that will change daily. Our chef works closely with
student vegans and vegetarians to make certain that their
nutritional needs and preferences are being met and respected.
- Comforts - A variety of hot entrees and side
dishes. A selection of vegetarian entrees, along with your
favorite meat, chicken or fish dish is served here Expect to
see homemade fried chicken, slow-cooked pot roast, even lamb
shanks on the Comforts line. Changing daily for lunch and
dinner and satisfying all your Basic needs.
- Exhibition "Fusion" -- At each lunch and dinner,
you can expect to see one of the Bon Appétit chef's displaying
culinary talent while making your meal to order. By day it may
be a fresh pasta sauté or baked potato bar and by night a
design your own salad station or nachos.
- The Deli -. Our Deli offers your favorite deli
meats, salads and side dishes, featuring homemade salad
selections or specialty meats.
- Sweets - An always-changing variety of cookies,
cakes, pies and cobblers. There is always chocolate to be
found.
- Ovens - Pizza is always available with an
assortment of toppings throughout the week for you to select
from; we've seen Pesto Chicken, Spinach and Feta, or just
plain pepperoni. Additional choices include calzones,
stromboli and other creative options.
- Grille - Great burgers are always available and we
will alternate into the program a variety of favorite grill
specials that will satisfy the diverse palettes represented in
our community.
