The following meal plans are available in order to meet your
dining/scheduling needs during the semester. You may opt to eat all
meals in the Emerson Café (dining hall) or combine Emerson meals
with a certain amount of "flex dollars" which are put into an
account with a declining balance. Flex dollars can be used just like
cash in the University Café in Goodman Hall to purchase coffee,
sandwiches, pastries, snacks and bottled beverages.
All students living in the residence halls are required to
participate in a University meal plan. Meals are served in the
Emerson Student Center. Nineteen meals are served each week and
three different meal plan options are available. Two of these
options include flex dollars which may be used at the Oglethorpe
Café in Goodman Hall. No breakfast is served on Saturday, Sunday, or
holidays. Instead, a brunch is served from mid-morning until early
afternoon. An evening meal is also served on these days.
See below for
combination possibilities:
Meal Plan Options:
19 Meal Plan: All 19 meals are taken at Emerson with zero
flex. This plan is the best value.
The 14 Meal Plan: The 14 meals during the week are used at
the Emerson Café with $75 in flex at the University Café.
The 10 Meal Plan: 10 meals during the week are used at the
Emerson Café with $125 in flex at the University Café.
(Flex dollars must be used during the current semester)

The meals can be taken for any meal in either semester.
