Student Affairs Division (Emerson Student Center)

This division supports the educational mission of the University by both challenging and entertaining students. Focusing on activities and services outside the classroom, Student Affairs’ departments promote participation in Oglethorpe’s campus life for individuals and groups.

These departments endorse the mission of providing a classic education in a contemporary city, with metropolitan resources either brought to campus or hosting our students. Students operate with a high degree of autonomy both in clubs and in sponsored activities; each are encouraged to find their personal interests through their selected affiliations.

The division operates its main office in the Emerson Student Center, with departments in satellite locations such as Goodman Hall (Career Services) and the Dorough Field House/Schmidt Center (Athletics).
