“I really enjoy Oglethorpe, for so many more reasons than I
could list,” said psychology major Jessica Graner ’08. “My
favorite part about Oglethorpe is the sense of community among
the students as well as the professors. I enjoy being able to
engage in conversations outside of the classroom with
professors, whether in their offices or walking along the
academic quad. Faculty truly care for students and are
passionate about teaching.”
For her psychology degree, Jessica is required to take
Biology I and II. She’s an active campus resident because she
enjoys the positive community spirit. She’s a member of Alpha
Phi Omega, a national co-educational service fraternity,
University Singers, the theatre group Playmakers, OUTlet:
Students Against Homophobia and Psi Chi, the national psychology
honor society. She also participates in an Atlanta local
softball league, which she enjoys “as much for the fun time as
for the athletic outlet.” |
