Welcome to the Career Center

Our mission is to educate students and alumni about career planning, a life-long process of self-evaluation and decision-making.

The Career Center fulfills this mission by providing resources to help students manage their own career development. Through individual appointments, seminars, educational programs and recruitment opportunities we assist individuals in exploring and preparing to pursue their career interests.

We are located in the lower level of Emerson Student Center, across from the Bomb Shelter. The Career Center is open Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. For information or to schedule an appointment contact us at 404.364.8865 or email careerservices@oglethorp.edu.

Looking for an Internship or Job? (Combine and remove this information)
The Career Services office provides listings of internships, volunteer positions, and jobs as well as research materials related to various fields.  Internship and employment opportunities can be explored by making an appointment with a counselor or by using online resources offered to students and alumni: eRecruiting powered by Experience; O*Net Online, the Occupational Information Network; Petreltrak hosted by Monstertrak; or NACElink Connect provided by the National Association of Colleges and Employers.

Uncertain about your career path?
Learn more about the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Strong Interest Inventory and how these assessments can benefit you.

From writing resumes and cover letters to preparing for an interview, a counselor will guide you through the application process.  If you want an internship for academic credit, be sure to obtain the required paperwork and meet with a counselor.
