Welcome from the President:
 I look forward to seeing all of you on May 12. Commencement, a significant rite for you and your families, is one of my favorite times of the year. Commencement always has a tinge of regret for me, because our time with you has come to an end. Yet, I also watch with great pride as you prepare to move on to the next stage of your life. We will be forever grateful to you for investing your time and money in your education at Oglethorpe and to your families for entrusting you to us. We hope we have lived up to your expectations. We are working hard not only to meet but to exceed them. Thank you to the families for supporting your students during this formative time of their lives, and please stay connected to Oglethorpe. We will always consider you part of our community.
