THE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY HAS BEEN MOVED INDOORS DUE TO RAIN.
Graduates, faculty, trustees and special guests who are participating in the processional should assemble in the Schmidt Athletic Center (enter through the glass doors).
All family and invited guests of graduates, OU staff, and members of the media should be seated in the Dorough Field House. You may enter through the doors dearest the parking lot on the either side of the building (facing the baseball stadium or the tennis courts). Guests of our graduates should have tickets to enter. Tickets were distributed to graduating seniors at the commencement rehearsal. Please see your graduating senior for ticket information.
Campus Safety officers and Oglethorpe staff will be stationed around campus and will help direct you.

Welcome from the President:
 I look forward to seeing all of you on May 18. Commencement, a significant rite for you and your families, is one of my favorite times of the year. Commencement always has a tinge of regret for me, because our time with you has come to an end. Yet, I also watch with great pride as you prepare to move on to the next stage of your life. We will be forever grateful to you for investing your time and money in your education at Oglethorpe and to your families for entrusting you to us. We hope we have lived up to your expectations. We are working hard not only to meet but to exceed them. Thank you to the families for supporting your students during this formative time of their lives, and please stay connected to Oglethorpe. You will always be part of our community.
