Welcome to Dr. Baube's home page.  I keep this updated as much as possible with information relevant to the current courses I teach.

COR-401 (Science and Human Nature: Biological Sciences).

Syllabus is ready. I will hand out one hard copy the first day of class. More copies can be accessed on my "Syllabus" page (linked below).

Most readings for the semester are not in the two required texts. Many of these extra readings are available on the web and will not be provided by me. You are to find the schedule with URL links available on my "Lab schedules/lab handouts/other information" page (linked below).
Make sure you are ready for class by being current on printing your readings.

Thanks to ALL my students this year for a great experience! Best of luck for next year and the coming years- whether at Oglethorpe University, or if you have moved on.

 Kid #1 (a.k.a. Calvin Anders Baube; born 01/30/01):

          2 Months                       5 months                     10 months

Cal goofing around with one of his little brother's hats.

Stuart Kirkpatrick Baube was born Oct. 16th at 1:58am.  He joined the world at a scrawny 8 lbs. 1 oz.

Our holiday picture 2002. Cal is just shy of two years old and Stuart is about 2 months.

Halloween 2004- Mickey Mouse and Buzz Lightyear  (They are both happy, honest!)

Fall 2004- Stuart (aged 2 years) & Cal (age 3 3/4 years)

Spring 2005- Stuart (2 1/2 years), Cal (4+ years)

Summer 2005 (Cal 4 1/2; Stuart almost 3)

I got lassoed into being a coach for Cal's T-ball team (the "muckdogs")- here's a team photo!  Talk about a "nerd out of water"......

Fall 2007- Calvin is 6 (almost 7) and Stuart is just over 5
