Professor Lutz received his PhD in French and Scandinavian Literature from Yale University in 1986. He specializes in late nineteenth-century French literature, especially poetry. In addition to all levels of French language, he teaches advanced courses in French literature, film, history, business and diplomacy. He also teaches non-credit evening courses in Swedish.
