Toledo is a very interesting place because it really is the only place we've seen that engulfs three major religions: Catholicism, which is the main religion of Spain, Judaism, and Islam. The city still has a lot of Arabic architecture. We went to an old synagogue. I learned a lot about how synagogues were formed and how they worked.
We saw the area where El Greco's house used to be. We also saw a very famous El Greco painting. After we saw the painting, we visited the Cathedral. The Archbishop of Toledo lives next to the Cathedral. While it is not the largest in Spain (second to that in Seville), it is the most ornate. The cathedrals have definitely been the most awe-inspiring things to see because the Spanish spared no expense in making them.
After our tour, we had free time to eat and shop. Later, we had dinner as a group, then we went out. Toledo was an amazing town!
