"Two Rooms" To Open at Oglethorpe
ATLANTA—Oglethorpe University’s Playmakers
will present "Two Rooms" by Lee Blessing in the Conant Performing
Arts Center on the campus of Oglethorpe University at 8 p.m. on
April 2, 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11.
"Two Rooms" tells the story of Michael and Laine
Wells, a young couple teaching at the American University in Beirut,
whose lives are torn apart when Michael is taken hostage by a group
of Shi'ite terrorists.
The play is directed by Lee Knippenberg and stars
Jerry Portwood as Michael, Stephanie Petrakos as Lainie, Mandy McDow
as Ellen and Richard Grillo as Walker.
