Oglethorpe Students to "Take Back the Night"
What: "Take Back the Night" Program
When: Monday, March 30, at 10 p.m.
Where: Academic Quadrangle near Lupton Hall
Oglethorpe University, 4484 Peachtree Road, NE
Details: "Take Back the Night" is a program
designed to empower women to
overcome rape, violence or assault. This year's program will include
a guest speaker from the DeKalb Rape Crisis Center, a candlelight
vigil for victims, music from several Oglethorpe students and a
self-defense demonstration by Oglethorpe's ESCAPE graduates. Take
Back the Night is organized by the Panhellenic Council of Oglethorpe
University and members of U-ESCAPE.
