Lecture/Performance: "Search for the Chimera" presented by James Randi, professional magician, author, internationally known lecturer and founder of The James Randi Educational Foundation. 8 p.m., Conant Performing Arts Center. Concert: Lori Sims, Gold Medalist of the 1998 Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition. Sims, a native of Colorado, holds degrees from the Peabody Conservatory and Yale University and has appeared as soloist with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic and Denver Chamber Orchestra. 8 p.m., Conant Performing Arts Center. Concert: Annual Boar’s Head Ceremony and Holiday Concert featuring Oglethorpe University Singers and Chorale, The Oglethorpe Recorder Ensemble and special guest ensembles The Atlanta Brass Sextet of the Salvation Army under the direction of Dr. Richard Holz, Holcomb Bridge Middle School Honors Chorus under the direction of Cristy T.
