Special Event: Community Easter Sunrise Service. 7 a.m. on the
Academic Quadrangle of Oglethorpe University. United Methodist
Bishop L. Bevel Jones will deliver the sermon. In case of rain, the

Thursday, April 8
Theatre: "Noises Off" by Michael Frayn. Presented by the
Playmakers, Oglethorpe University Theatre. April 8, 9, 10, 15, 16,
and 17 at 8 p.m. April 11 at 2 p.m. All performances at the Conant

Concert: The Oglethorpe University Singers, the University
Chorale, the DeKalb Choral Guild (Mary Evelyn Root, conductor), the
Atlanta Chamber Orchestra (Gustavo Pineda, conductor) and guest
soloists present Mozart's "Mass in C Major, K. 317" ("Coronation"),
conducted by Dr. W. Irwin Ray. 8 p.m., Conant Performing Arts

Through May 30
Exhibition: "Hermann Hesse: Novelist, Poet, Painter" at
Oglethorpe University Museum. Featuring watercolors, pen and ink
drawings, first edition books and photographs of the Nobel
Prize-winning author Hesse. Museum and Museum Gift Shop hours are
Tuesday through Sunday, noon until 5 p.m., remaining open until 7
p.m. on Thursday. The Museum is closed on Monday. For more
