Iowa State Professor to Speak on Anger at
Oglethorpe
Atlanta – Dr. Brad Bushman, associate professor of
psychology at Iowa State University, will speak on “The Myth of
Venting Anger” at Oglethorpe University’s Lupton Auditorium
Thursday, November 4 at 8 p.m.
Admission is free and open to the public.
Bushman received his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri in
social psychology in 1989. He has taught psychology at Iowa State
University since 1990.
Bushman’s experimental work is highly regarded by his colleagues
in the psychology field, and his research has been featured
regularly in the media including National Public Radio, the Wall
Street Journal, the Washington Post, Newsweek, the New York Times
and ABC’s 20/20.
Bushman’s lecture is sponsored by the Oglethorpe University
Programming Committee, the Department of Psychology, the
Psychology/Sociology Club and the Oglethorpe University chapter of
Psi Chi, the national psychology honor society.
