Inaugural Symposium: “Celebrating the Liberal Arts: Making a Life and Making a Living.” The symposium begins at 12:30 p.m. with a plenary address titled “The ‘Phoney’ War: Rote Learning vs. Critical Thinking” by Dr. Roger Shattuck.
