It's Off to Japan for Oglethorpe Student and
Knoxville Native
Atlanta – Oglethorpe University sophomore Courtney Cronley
has been awarded a National Security Education Program Fellowship
for one year of academic study at Nanzan University in Nagoya,
Japan.
NSEP provides American undergraduates with the resources and
support they need to obtain skills and experience in countries
critical to the future security of our nation. NSEP teaches students
how to communicate effectively across borders, understand other
perspectives and analyze increasingly fluid economic and political
realities.
Cronley, a communications major, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Jerry Cronley and attended Farragut High School in Knoxville, Tenn.
Oglethorpe University is an independent, highly selective,
coeducational liberal arts institution located in Atlanta, Ga.
