Oglethorpe University Museum of Art Showcases
Permanent Collection
Atlanta - Oglethorpe University Museum of
Art will feature its permanent collection January 22 through March
15. "Oglethorpe University Museum of Art Permanent Collection"
reflects the diverse and international exhibits it has held over the
years. Among the works in the collection are etchings by Camille
Corot and August Rodin, photographs of Georgia O'Keefe by Todd Webb,
realistic oil paintings by Richard Maury and Francisco Roa, and a
14th century Japanese Kamakura Buddha. The collection also includes
recent gifts and loans to the museum, as well as recent purchases by
the museum including watercolors by Francis Augustus Silva and
Sondra Freckelton. Museum hours are Tuesday through Sunday from noon
until 5 p.m. Admission is free, with ample parking available. The
museum is on the third floor of the Philip Weltner Library Building,
4484 Peachtree Road, N.E., in Atlanta, Georgia. For more information
