Suze Orman to bring LESSONS OF LIFE to Oglethorpe University
Atlanta – Suze Orman, personal finance editor on CNBC and host
of her own national CNBC-TV show, "The Suze Orman Show," will be
speaking at Oglethorpe University's Conant Performing Arts Center on
March 11 at 7 p.m. as part of a national book tour for her most
recent book, "The Laws of Money, the Lessons of Life.” Following her
speech, Orman will be signing copies of her book.
Profiled in "Worth” magazine's 100th issue
(October 2001) as among those "who have revolutionized the way
America thinks about money," Orman has authored three consecutive
"New York Times” bestsellers including "The Road to Wealth," "The
Courage to Be Rich," and "The 9 Steps to Financial Freedom," and the
national bestseller "You've Earned It, Don't Lose It."
Her latest book,"The Laws of Money, the
lessons of Life," promises to help readers get out of debt and
protect their money, family, and future through a series of laws as
a guide. Through pointed questions about attitudes toward money,
with financial exercises and personal guidance, Orman deciphers the
elements that keep people from making smart and confident decisions
about their money.
Orman, a Certified Financial Planner, directed
the Suze Orman Financial Group from 1987 – 1997, served as Vice
President of Investments for Prudential Bache Securities from 1983 –
87, and from 1980 – 83, was an Account Executive at Merrill Lynch.
Today, Orman also serves as a contributing editor to "O: The Oprah
Magazine," and hosts her own "Financial Freedom” hour on QVC.
Tickets to the Atlanta stop on Suze Orman's "Laws of Money Tour" are $26 (includes a copy of
"The Laws of Money,
The Lessons of Life”) and are available by calling 770-452-1711,
extension 112.
This event is sponsored by Oglethorpe
University, Public Broadcasting Atlanta, and Chapter 11 Bookstore.
