ATLANTA -- Oglethorpe University’s theatre department
present
The House of Yes written by Wendy MacLeod and
directed by Brent Rose ’07, September 28 through 30 at the
Conant Performing Arts Center on the Oglethorpe campus (4484
Peachtree Road NE, Atlanta 30319).
Meet Jackie O. She's elegant, glamorous and well bred. A
mentally unbalanced young woman (who thinks she's Jackie
Kennedy) flips into a murderous rage when her brother returns
home with his fiancée and reveals he's engaged.
The House of
Yes is an unusual comedy about a house where the word "no"
is never heard.
MacLeod’s cult classic happens over one night
in an elite Washington, D.C. home, where history fuses with the
present, truth with fiction and love with insanity. This
Thanksgiving, the Pascals celebrate family, love and the Kennedy
assassination.
The House of Yes will run September 28 and 30 at 8:00
p.m. and September 29 at midnight. Tickets are $5 for off campus
guests and free for the Oglethorpe community with ID. Mature
content. For tickets please call 404.504.1074.
