World-Class Jazz at Oglethorpe
ATLANTA – Oglethorpe University Museum of Art, the department of music and Joseph Guy Presents brings Astral Project, New Orleans’ most inventive modern jazz group, October 30 at 7:30 p.m. to Oglethorpe University’s Lupton Auditorium.
Astral Project is a co-op band comprised of four world-class improvisers, hailed by fans and critics from around the world. True to the original spirit of jazz, the band creates real tunes and memorable melodies while giving the musicians freedom to incorporate their own influences. Since 1978, these veteran musicians have brought a wealth of diverse experience to the band stand.
General admission tickets sold at the door are $20; OUMA members and Oglethorpe community are $15; students/youths are $10; and Oglethorpe students are $5. For more information please call 404.310.3045.
