Sidney Lanier’s Poetry Featured in Oglethorpe Singers Concert
ATLANTA – The Oglethorpe University Singers and University Chorale will perform a spring concert Friday, April 20 at 8:00 p.m. in the Conant Performing Arts Center. The feature selection is Ten Songs on Poems of Sidney Lanier by Edwin Robertson. This concert pays homage to the 1860 Oglethorpe University graduate and renowned poet Sidney Lanier.
The Oglethorpe University Singers concert choir and the University Chorale chamber choir continue their tradition of choral excellence as they perform works from the Renaissance through the 21st century. The concert features outstanding student soloists and ensembles in an evening of choral music that will feed the mind, nourish the spirit and bring pleasure to the senses. Conducted by Dr. W.
