Business Leader Visits Oglethorpe
ATLANTA – Oglethorpe University presents CEO and author Jack Stahl in the Mack A. Rikard Lecture Series on Monday, April 7, at 4:30 p.m. in the Skylight Gallery of the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art. Stahl will present Advancing Through Leadership.
Former president of The Coca-Cola Company and president and CEO of Revlon, Jack Stahl is the author of 2007’s Lessons on Leadership. After a 22-year career at Coca-Cola where he rose from junior finance executive to president, Stahl moved on and turned the Revlon brand around. He serves on the boards of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Schering-Plough Corporation and the United Negro College Fund. He received his bachelor’s degree from Emory University and his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Oglethorpe’s Mack A. Rikard Lecture Series was established in 1991 to help college students understand current issues in the business world. Rikard, a 1937 graduate of Oglethorpe, hoped to foster an appreciation of economics in all students regardless of career interests by bringing recognized leaders to campus.
