Photo Opportunity: Oglethorpe Seniors Ring the Carillon Bells
ATLANTA – Oglethorpe University’s 250 graduating seniors will ring Lupton Hall’s historic Carillon bells on Wednesday, May 7, at 5:00 p.m. to celebrate their accomplishments. Each student will climb the four-story bell tower inside Lupton Hall and use a mallet to ring the enormous outdoor bells, as part of the annual Carillon Ceremony.
A champagne toast will be held on Oglethorpe’s academic quadrangle at the conclusion of the ceremony. The Carillon Ceremony is sponsored by Oglethorpe’s Office of Alumni Relations.
