Icons in Search of Lingerie at Oglethorpe
ATLANTA – Oglethorpe University’s Department of Theatre presents Weekend at Oswald’s Thursday, February 7 through February 9, at 8:00 p.m. and Friday, February 8, at midnight, in Oglethorpe’s Conant Performing Arts Center.
Weekend at Oswald’s is a biting farce of America’s Manifest Destiny. J. Edgar Hoover leads an iconoclastic cast of characters including JFK, Marilyn Monroe, Joe DiMaggio, Jack Ruby, Frank Sinatra, Lee Harvey Oswald, Rock Hudson and Fidel Castro (in women’s underwear)! Each of them will do whatever it takes to obtain a certain beautiful and mysterious blue negligee... or die trying.
Oglethorpe is proud to present the debut of Ian Fuller and Val Wilson’s newest comedy of political intrigue and perversion. Directed by Brent Rose class of 2007.
